Trade and Investment Mission to Guinea - Financial Sector

DMA conducted a highly insightful and impactful financial sector trade mission to Guinea on 24th and 25th April. The delegation, comprised of some of Europe & Africa's leading banks & insurers, explored the vast potential of Guinea through candid discussions with the private sector and the Government of Guinea. Key figures, including the Prime Minister, the Minister of Economy & Planning, the Minister of Budget, the Minister of Public Works, the Minister of Planning & International Cooperation, as well as the Governor of the Central Bank, were engaged in productive dialogues. 

Discussions, led by UK Export Finance and the British Embassy in Conakry, included proactive engagements with Africa's biggest single investment in Rio Tinto. The event was generously supported by ARISE and EcoBank, who also hosted a key event for the Bankers Association of Guinea.
