UK-Benin Trade and Investment Mission

Following on from the UK-Francophone West and Central Africa Trade and Investment Forum (WCAF), we were delighted to take a delegation from the UK and abroad on our second trade mission of 2024 to Benin.

⁠Over two days the packed schedule included high-level B2G meetings with government officals including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Minister of Finance and Minister of Energy and Mines.

During the visit, Tim Reid, CEO of UK Export Finance (UKEF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Benin’s Ministry of Economy and Finance affirming the UK’s intent to help local projects secure new financing.
