In partnership with the British Embassy in Rabat and Moroccan Embassy in London, DMA took a high-level business delegation to Morocco on 9th and 10th April. The mission was focussed on education and energy sectors and mission participants included Renewable Energy Partners, Enterprise Ireland, the University of Huddersfield and representatives of British Independent Schools and other education service providers.
Day 1 included business briefings by the British Embassy and Invest Morocco, a call on H.E. Said Amzazi, Education Minister and the world-class Rabat International University to discuss education partnerships.
Day 2 included meetings with the Confederation of Industry, a call on the Energy Minister, an education roundtable and networking lunch co-hosted with SIST Morocco and a visit to the OCP's incredible Mohammed VI University in Ben Guerir. Bilateral meetings were also organised for some delegation members, including with Casablanca Finance City.
HMA Thomas Reilly kindly hosted the delegation on the first evening to thank the delegation mission sponsors; SIST Casablanca and Royal Air Maroc, and many others who made the mission happen.
