Pre-Forum Drinks: UK-Francophone West & Central Africa Trade & Investment Forum V (WCAF V) Reception

The WCAF V Pre-Forum Drinks in London brought together an excellent mix of senior business leaders, investors, government representatives and key stakeholders from across the UK and Francophone West & Central Africa for an evening of conversation, connection and collaboration.

The evening opened with remarks from H.E. Aly Diallo, Ambassador of Guinea to the UK; Ben Ainsley, His Majesty’s Deputy Trade Commissioner for Africa; Duncan Wollaston, CFO of Aqua Africa; and Simon Bunckenburg, Head of Infrastructure & Construction at UK Export Finance.

Their insights set the tone for an engaging evening, followed by lively conversations, new introductions and valuable connections between participants. The strong turnout and positive atmosphere reflected the growing interest in the opportunities across Francophone West and Central Africa and the momentum surrounding WCAF V in Conakry.
