UK-Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Trade & Investment Forum

18th - 19th June 2026Central London
1 / 9

The sixth UK–Ethiopia Trade & Investment Forum, held at the Royal Society of Arts in London on 18 June, brought together more than 300 delegates from across the United Kingdom and Ethiopia, including senior government representatives, business leaders, investors, and key stakeholders committed to strengthening bilateral trade and investment.

We were honoured to welcome a senior Ethiopian delegation led by H.E. Gedion Timothewos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, whose participation highlighted the shared commitment of both governments to deepening economic ties and expanding bilateral cooperation.

Throughout the Forum, delegates engaged in a series of high-level panel discussions covering logistics and trade facilitation, agribusiness, energy and infrastructure, manufacturing, ICT and the digital economy, mining and natural resources, and Ethiopia's evolving investment landscape.

The discussions showcased the significant opportunities emerging across key sectors and reinforced Ethiopia's position as one of Africa's fastest-growing economies, driven by ambitious economic reforms and an improving investment climate.

DMA extends its sincere thanks to the British and Ethiopian Governments, our speakers, partners, delegates, and stakeholders whose support and participation made the Forum such a success. The strong engagement throughout the day reflected the growing momentum behind the UK–Ethiopia partnership and the continued commitment to expanding trade and investment between the two countries.
