UK-Republic of Angola Trade & Investment Forum

9th Sep 2026Central London

The UK–Angola Trade & Investment Forum brought together more than 300 delegates in London on 9 September 2026, united by a shared ambition to strengthen trade, investment and business ties between the United Kingdom and Angola.

The Forum welcomed senior government representatives, business leaders, investors and stakeholders from across both countries for a full day of discussion, networking and opportunities to develop new partnerships.

We were honoured to welcome opening remarks from Kirsty McNeill MP, UK Minister of State for Development and Africa; H.E. Vera Daves, Minister of Finance of Angola; and Ben Ainsley, His Majesty’s Deputy Trade Commissioner for Africa, alongside contributions from many other senior voices throughout the day.

A day of trade and investment opportunities

The programme explored a wide range of opportunities across the UK–Angola relationship, including finance, infrastructure, tourism, investment and the Lobito Corridor.

Alongside panel discussions and investment spotlights, the Forum provided a platform for delegates to build new relationships through networking, B2B and B2G meetings, creating opportunities for businesses, investors and government stakeholders to connect and explore potential partnerships.

The event concluded with a VVIP Gala Dinner, bringing together distinguished guests and senior representatives from the UK and Angola for an evening of further discussion and relationship-building in a more intimate setting.
