DMA Events

DMA is best known for its investor showcases and summits produced for governments around the globe

From island economies such as Jamaica to post-conflict nations such as Côte-d’Ivoire – from the world’s newest economies such as Kosovo to the most exciting emerging economies such as Nigeria – DMA's investment summits assist emerging economies in attracting the inward investment they need.

Typically led by either the Head of State or Head of Government, our investment summits have proven to be the most productive, globally, in terms of generating awareness, matching businesses and in delivering tangible investment outcomes. Over the past 15 years, DMA’s events are attributed as having facilitated more than US$15 billion in new investments into frontier economies.

Alongside its sovereign investment events, DMA also run high-level investment missions to country, as well as sector-specific investment meetings and roundtables focused on key development issues.

In 2022, DMA and UKEF hosted the widely lauded UK-Francophone, West and Central Africa Trade and Investment Forum (WVAF) for eight countries in London, which was attended by over 20 ministers, witnessed signed deals of £170mn with a £500mn pipeline and had 600+ investors in attendance.

Since the Summit, the company has taken over 75 businesses to Cameroon, Gabon, Cote d'Ivoire, Togo and Niger and, in six weeks of country visits, had just over £500mn in pledges of investment signed with £190mn in financial closure in addition to the £170mn from the Forum.

DMA's 2023 WCAF event has now been expanded to include its ninth country the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
