On December 10th, at The Waldorf Hilton Hotel, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) in association with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the Government of the Republic of Algeria hosted the UK-Algeria Trade & Investment Forum 2014. This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 400 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sectors.
On November 4th, at Painters' Hall in the City of London, DMA, supported by the FCO and other partners, hosted representatives from the Government of Albania for the half day UK-Albania Trade & Investment Forum 2014. The event was opened by Leon Isaacs, Chief Executive of DMA.
On November 6th, at The Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) in association with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the Government of the Republic of Paraguay hosted the UK-Paraguay Trade & Investment Forum 2014. This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 300 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sectors.
On October 23rd, at the Grosvenor Square Hotel, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) in association with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the Government of the Republic of Ghana hosted the UK-Ghana Trade & Investment Forum 2014. This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 400 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sector.
On October 14th, at One Whitehall Place, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in association with the Government of the Republic of Somaliland hosted the UK-Somaliland Trade & Investment Forum. This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 300 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sectors.
On October 22nd, at Plaisterers' Hall, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) in association with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Government of the Republic of Rwanda hosted the UK-Rwanda Trade & Investment Forum 2014. This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 300 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sectors.
Developing Markets Associates (DMA) hosted the SMEs: Leading Nigeria into the Next Century event on 20th May, 2014, with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and UK Trade & Invest (UKTI). This very successful event attracted well over 150 participants from a wide range of sectors with a keen interest in the growth of SMEs in Nigeria, confirming the growing interest and opportunities available in the country.
On May 7th, at Church House, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in association with the Government of the Republic of Cameroon hosted the UK-Cameroon Trade & Investment Forum. This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 500 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sector.
On behalf of the UK Foreign Office and UKTI, DMA hosted a delegation of senior Tanzanian Ministers, led by President Dr Jakaya Kikwete, to meet and network with some 200 businesspersons and investors in the Locarno Room at the Foreign Office.
Introduced by the UK Minister for Africa, Mark Simmonds, who highlighted the strong historic, political and economic ties between Tanzania and the UK, President Kikwete, in a very upbeat speech outlined the key areas in which Tanzania is looking for further investment - particularly from the UK which is its largest investment partner.
